After being sold a "salt water spa" which I later found out was the same as any other chlorine spa, you just don't buy the chlorine, I had problem after problem keeping the thing clean and balanced. I then found out that it's almost impossible to keep a chlorine generator spa (Hot Spring) balanced.
This system was a great alternative to all the chemicals I needed to keep using. The water is much softer and way gentler than salt. Love it.
Bought a new spa to replace my old Cal Spa and this program came with it. I used bromine in my old spa and always had water quality issues. I think the mineralizer and energizer are the secret sauce. I now have clear water, its always soft and in balance. Good stuff and my pool guy says there is a version for pools as well. Definitely will be switching to that this spring.
